Omegas of Rock Hill

We are passionate about supporting young people and this is an organization dedicated to empowering young black males by attending a Boys Leadership Camp at Winston Salem State University.  We are giving scholarships for 2 young men to attend camp to obtain leadership skills this summer.

Addressing a Critical Need: 

While many youth programs exist, targeted initiatives for young black males are crucial for fostering leadership, positive identity, and academic success. This camp provides a safe space for them to learn valuable life skills, build self-confidence, and connect with positive role models. 

Camp Highlights: 

• Mentorship and Peer Interaction: Campers will engage with peers from North and South Carolina, fostering a sense of community and belonging. 

• Holistic Development: Activities include swimming, arts & crafts, workshops on health & hygiene, team building, public speaking, decision-making, education, Black history, and violence prevention.

Your sponsorship directly impacts young lives. By contributing to the $365 cost per camper, you'll invest in: 

• Leadership Skills: The camp cultivates leadership potential through workshops and team-building activities. 

• Academic Motivation: Educational workshops inspire campers to excel in school and pursue higher education. 

• Positive Identity Development: Campers engage with positive black male role models, fostering self-confidence and cultural pride.
