Written by a long term employee
There I was, waiting for a response from one of the many agencies which I recently applied for position(s) with. Full of anxiety and fear that I would not be able to find a position with a company that would allow me some sense of stability. Then I received a call from one of the persons I had interviewed with recently….and they were not offering me a position in their company. Instead they asked if they could give my information to a company that was looking for someone with my experience in the collections arena. I said sure, what could it hurt?
Little did I know then, that the next time my phone would ring, that I would be presented with the opportunity of making one of the toughest, most exciting, yet easiest professional decisions of my career.
Fast forward to today, I have to thank Chris Ruh for taking a chance on me in 2017. He and the rest of the Leadership Team could not have known at the time, but Williams & Fudge was on the top of a very short list of mine, of agencies that had not only a great reputation in the industry, but that their reputation was supported by their employees who had annually voted their own company as The Best Place to Work in Collections. And what an honor it is to be able to now cast my vote of confidence in the same manner that has been down for over a decade now!
Today I am more than grateful and appreciative of the manner in which WE have adapted to the “new norm”, which has allowed us all to continue working hard for our clients, whether remotely or in office.
Thank you Chris, Bob P, David, Peggy, Alice, Gary, Amelia, Adam, Clay, Jon, Ronnie, Phillip, Bob D, Trish, Allison, Ali, Paul, Greg, all of the TL’s and everyone else that have made every day at Williams and Fudge better than the previous!
My son Donovan and daughter Emma were, and still are too young to understand why I had to leave Marietta, GA for Rock Hill, SC, but they never had to go a day without anything they needed. This is why I work hard, every day for this company, so that my children don’t have to go without.
Thank You Williams & Fudge.
