Victory Gardens is a non-profit in Rock Hill whose mission is to spearhead community redevelopment through urban farming, food production, food access and job creation in low-wealth communities across the globe.
In 2022 the "Williams Way" board decided that not only was feeding those living in poverty was important, but it was just as important to make sure they are getting nutritious food as well. After some research, they located this new organization that is developing gardens in the county for this mission!
After visiting the garden we learned about the importance of these gardens across the county and were able to give a $7,000 grant!
