W&F Fudge

From the 25th anniversary W&F History book

One of the earliest sales traditions at Williams & Fudge, which continues today, is sharing “a piece of the company” with all clients by delivering fudge to them every Christmas. As a way to say thank you to each of their ten customers in December 1986, Peggy and Gary made one batch of fudge for Gary to deliver; they continued making it at home each year until 1999. Their daughter Alice remembers coming home from youth group on Sunday evenings to a house filled with that wonderful chocolate aroma. After making 40+ batches one fall, they decided to outsource the fudge! Last year, as W&F Special Projects Director, Alice Williams Davis ordered over 2,000 pounds of fudge for delivery to clients as a small way of saying thanks! To many clients, this is a “requirement” to continue doing business with W&F!

The Island Fudge Shoppe, in Hilton Head, SC, makes over a ton (literally) of fudge for sales reps to deliver throughout the fall.
