Hope - feeding our community

HOPE started in 1975 with the vision of a few congregations, including Rev. Bo Coleman at Oakland Baptist Church, a long-term member and staff of OBC who passed away in 2020.  HOPE of Rock Hill, a non-profit crisis assistance ministry, now serves thousands in Rock Hill, South Carolina by providing food and utilities to those in need.  There is a process for each family that comes in allowing them a week's worth of groceries!

Each year, since about 2012, Williams & Fudge does a food drive to help fill the pantry at HOPE.  Together, in 2019, we donated 4,123 lbs of canned food to
Project Hope
and $1,610 in donations. Our contributions will provide 9,876 meals to people in our community!

During 2022 and 2023 Kevin spends time each day volunteering at HOPE in their new location on Oakland Ave in Rock Hill.  He helps them feed 100s of people in our community by loading and unloading food, purchasing, and doing the books for the non-profit!
