Children's Attention Home

For more than forty years, Williams & Fudge has been a steady force for good in the Rock Hill community, known for their generosity and commitment to local nonprofits. Their partnership with the Children’s Attention Home stretches over two decades, driven by a shared belief that every young person deserves safety, support, and hope.

“The Children’s Attention Home is a vital part of that community. We are inspired by the care, stability, and hope they provide to children who need it most,” said Alice Davis, Director of Foundation and Community Support. “We are honored to support the Home’s new transitional housing and keep all the young people who pass through its doors in our thoughts and prayers as they move toward brighter futures.”

Miracle Park Groundbreaking

Phases 2 and 3 have been planned since the park’s inception, and the team has been actively fundraising to make these additions to the park a reality. Phase 2, which the Williams Family have poured time and resources into, will include a second Miracle League Baseball field, an accessible multi-purpose field for many other sports, a 2,600 square foot Education building for indoor programming and storage of adaptive equipment, and more parking. Phase 3 will begin immediately after Phase 2 is completed and will add an 8,000 square foot retail space to the corner of Cherry Rd and Richmond Drive. The purpose of the retail space is to serve our community by hiring people of ALL abilities, teaching job skills and providing opportunities to build resumes. The community has been hugely supportive of this initiative with over 600 donors so far. We still have funds to raise, with donors will be recognized at different levels in a third donor recognition area near the pond as the final piece of construction.

Leitner Construction will be responsible for Phase 2.  Southern Builders will then take over construction of Phase 3. Rock Hill Miracle Park is a public-private joint project of the York County Disabilities Foundation, MaxAbilities, The City of Rock Hill, and Winthrop University, serving more than 10,000 guests each month!

This is Rock Hill's most inclusive community space, ever  - a place for EVERYONE to BELONG!
